back to top@ckeen What you cutting the polysterene with? Scalpel or Hot wire?
@Printdevil A scalpel is good enough for this. I don't have access to a hot wire cutter like the cool kids.
The further plan is to use PVA glue and water mix to cover this with papier-maché to cover them up.
Then add sand, paint tufts, etc... I got four of them now.
@ckeen I never seem to get a hotwire cutter to actually do anything I want and end up reverting back to a scalpel.
@Printdevil A jig for columns or circles would be nice sometimes...
@ckeen Scrollsaws are good for that, but I just use a dremel with a plunger.
Well I did. I spend my time making "Cheshire Cat Giant Mugs" for school plays since having children.
@Printdevil That sounds like fun as well
@ckeen It's.... problematic. They do as much as they can, and then I finish things, but finishing off props and scenery and things that children make can get me a bit.. fidgety with "THERE ARE NO CLEAN LINES" sort of edginess.
