@Printdevil A scalpel is good enough for this. I don't have access to a hot wire cutter like the cool kids.

The further plan is to use PVA glue and water mix to cover this with papier-maché to cover them up.

Then add sand, paint tufts, etc... I got four of them now.

@ckeen I don't so mind minis because you'd have to be a bit of a master class scalpel artist to make minis with just scrap.

I just think scenery is a bit of a plastic sink hole once you start printing it. I just like recycling stuff anyway. Upcycling for terrain is more fun I think.
