@ckeen OK, then you have plenty of settings/scenarios for the old-school systems like DCC, Shadowdark or Old School Essentials.
Alternatively, there's Trudvang Chronicles with a Norse flair or Ryuutama for a Miyazaki atmosphere with a light system.
