back to top@ckeen Here are some of my favorite #SolarPunk (or solarpunk-adjacent) novel-length books:
- "Another Life" by Sarena Ulibarri (@sarenaulibarri)
- "A Half-Built Garden" by Ruthanna Emrys (@r_emrys)
- "When You Had Power" and the rest of the Nothing Is Promised series by Susan Kaye Quinn (@susankayequinn)
- "A Psalm for the Wild-Built" / "A Prayer for the Crown-Shy" by Becky Chambers
- "The Lost Cause" by Cory Doctorow (@pluralistic)
I own a few more solarpunk novels I can't recommend until I finish them. :)
There are also many short story collections if you're open to that format! My favorite so far is "Multispecies Cities".
@owenbiesel Thank you those are looking all good *putsonpile* @sarenaulibarri @r_emrys @susankayequinn @pluralistic
@ckeen@social.vernunftzentrum.de @owenbiesel thanks for the rec!
@ckeen@vernunftzentrum.de I also have a podcast Bright Green Futures where I collect up hopeful climate fiction stories (they're hard to find!) and have a running list as well as interview the authors and talk about what it takes to write them.

Speaking of short stories, I read this *amazing* one yesterday, just dropped from Grist: https://grist.org/climate-fiction/imagine2200-the-seed-dropper/
